How Do I Know if My Ford Has Been Involved in a Recall?

To determine whether or not there is a recall for a specific part on your vehicle, simply type your vehicle identification number (VIN), which can be found on the windshield behind the dashboard, your driver's side door, or in your ownership or registration documents, in the field provided for you on the Ford Recall page. Once you've entered this information, any recall repairs that have not been completed on your vehicle will be displayed for you. As always, Ford will work quickly to identify any affected vehicles and notify owners in writing about a recall announcement, but even if you haven't received a written recall for your vehicle, we recommend checking in with our Ford Recall Center every now and then just to ensure that your ride is safe and is capable of operating to its full potential.
